  • Laminar flow hoods designed to create a vertical laminar airflow in the working area, providing an appropriate environment in which sterile materials such as culture media and drug preparations do not become contaminated. Vertical laminar flow hoods typically include blowers and may include a high-efficiency particulate-air (HEPA) filter for the inflow of air.
