Garment dispensers designed to store and deliver a controlled number of gloves, isolating the remaining gloves. These devices typically consist of one or more enclosed compartments (e.g., plastic holders) that permit the delivery of one or more gloves of the same and/or different type (e.g., standard, hypoallergenic, nitrile), using an external mechanism that does not permit the user to touch the remaining gloves. Controlled delivery glove dispensers are used mainly in hospital areas (e.g., examination, treatment, and operating rooms; clinical laboratories) and/or are located throughout the facility; they are also used in other healthcare facilities such as doctors\' offices and nursing homes. They are intended mainly to provide gloves for hygienic purposes and/or personal protection, keeping the remaining gloves in clean and/or sterile condition. The dispensers are usually available for mounting on a table or on the wall; portable units are also available.
