  • Manometers designed to measure the pressure exerted by one or both feet while standing and/or walking. These devices typically consist of an electronic manometer with a dedicated mat that includes multiple sensors to detect the pressure between the foot and the mat at many different points. The manometers may be dedicated instruments or part of physiologic (e.g., gait) analyzers that permit the detailed assessment of the pressure in different areas of the foot using computerized algorithms and/or graphic analysis methods.
