  • Video cameras designed for attachment as an integral component at the distal end of a flexible or rigid video endoscope. These cameras usually include appropriate semiconductor sensors (e.g., CCD, C-MOS) located at the distal tip of the endoscope; the captured signal is delivered through fiber optics to the proximal end of the endoscope and then sent to a video processor.
