  • Laboratory measurement software designed to operate in-vitro oximeters, control/monitor a limited number of their functions, and/or process data obtained while measuring (e.g., hemoglobin forms). This software is intended to work only with one or a few models of in-vitro oximeters, usually from the same manufacturer. The software may perform a variety of algorithms such as quality control, detecting out-of-range specimens, provide customized reports, and send/receive patient information from the local information system.
