Casework designed for use in surgical and/or special procedures rooms. This casework usually includes a combination of several cabinets, desks, and tables arranged to meet the needs of an operating and/or procedure room; it may include warming units, sinks, and other special furniture. Most casework units are made of stainless steel, frequently with glass doors to facilitate ease of cleaning and/or sterilization. Operating/procedure room casework is used in hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities in dedicated areas or rooms intended for surgical and/or some special procedures (e.g., catheterization).
