Bone surgery knives designed for cutting bones and/or other hard tissue structures at the articulation between the hip and the femoral head during surgical procedures. These devices consist of manual, sturdy, handheld instruments of a variety of geometric shapes and sizes. They usually have a straight handle and a wide curved cutting blade at its distal tip that conforms to the surface of the pelvis which articulates to the femoral head. Acetabular bone surgical knives are used in hip and/or femur orthopedic surgery.
