These devices are usually confined to a particular area of a healthcare facility , and provide clear display and ready access to all items. These carts typically consist of stand-alone multiple-drawer, -shelf, or -shelf/drawer structure with a working surface (e.g., the top of the cart) appropriate for use while performing the medical treatment or procedure; the structure is mounted on large wheels (e.g., diameter of at least 10 cm/4 in) that are usually an integral part of the cart.
