  • Devices designed to be applied to an arterial puncture (arteriotomy) and/or venous puncture site to achieve hemostasis following diagnostic or interventional cardiology, radiology, or other endovascular procedures. These devices utilize different mechanisms applied either externally (e.g., external pressure, topical hemostasis) or internally (e.g., active approximation [i.e., mechanically close], passive sealing) to achieve hemostasis.
