  • Clean room cabinets designed to store, display, and provide ready access to garments used in clean rooms, keeping the same or better conditions than the clean room provides. Garment clean room cabinets usually include high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters and a blower that may provide laminar air flow in the interior of the cabinet. The cabinets are usually made of a combination of metal (e.g., stainless steel) and transparent doors made of plastic (e.g., acrylic, transparent PVC) or, less frequently, glass, to permit ease of cleaning and sterilization. They may include several racks to hang the garment and/or shelves for folded cloth and/or boots, gloves, head caps; they are available in multiple configurations (e.g., stand-alone, wall-mounted) and usually include sliding or self-closing hinged doors; some also include security locks.
