  • Vascular catheters designed to obtain intravascular images of the coronary arteries using optical coherence tomography (OCT). These catheters typically consist of a plastic tube with a fiberoptic core and a lumen for saline and/or contrast media injection; the catheter delivers near-infrared light and performs a fast (e.g., 100 MB/sec) data sampling rate to perform measurements in a few seconds.
