  • Molecular assay reagents intended for use in identifying exchanges (i.e., translocations) between chromosome 8 band q22 and chromosome 21 band q22, usually involving genes RUNX1T1 (aka as ETO) and RUN XW (aka as AML1), respectively. This translocation is the most frequent anomaly in children with acute nonlymphocytic leukemia (ANLL); it is also present in other patients with ANLL. Its detection may be used as a tumor marker.
