Hematology reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses on a body fluid sample (typically plasma) to determine one or both of the antigens to the subunits of the coagulation factor XIII. The subunits are termed A and S (subunit S is also known as subunit B); the level of the factor XIII subunit A antigen is associated to the pathogenesis of vascular disease and Crohn\'s disease.
