Immunology reagents including monoclonal antibodies that contribute to typing lymphocytes capable of killing target cells without prior exposure to them (natural killer cells). They identify the presence of some antigens (e.g., CD16, CD56) and the lack of other antigens on their surface, particularly CD3, CD4, and CD8. These tests are used to differentiate among a heterogeneous group of neoplasms having phenotypes resembling NK cells from other lymphomas.
