  • Immunoassay reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses on a body fluid sample (e.g., serum) to determine antibodies against small, sphere-shaped components found in the cytoplasm of cells (i.e., mitochondria); they are generically known as antimitochondrial antibodies (AMAs).
