Immunoassay reagents intended to perform quantitative analyses on a body fluid sample (e.g., serum, plasma) to measure levels and/or otherwise analyze one or more of a group of therapeutic drugs known as cardiovascular agents, i.e., drugs intended to affect the rate or intensity of cardiac contraction, blood vessel diameter, or blood volume. These reagents are mainly used in tests intended to measure the cardiovascular drug levels in patients undergoing treatment, either to determine the adequacy of drug treatment or to diagnose a drug overdose or drug-related toxicity.
