Clinical chemistry reagents impregnated in one or more areas of a paper strip (reagent strip) used to perform tests in a sample of urine in a short period of time, typically several minutes (i.e., rapid tests), to determine several analytes simultaneously. Urinary rapid-test reagent strips are mostly used for determination of protein, albumin, glucose, ketone bodies, occult blood, bilirubin, and urobilinogen.
