Clinical chemistry reagents intended to perform qualitative and/or quantitative chemical analysis of body fluids (typically serum or plasma) to determine the level of fructosamine, a generic name for plasma protein ketoamines. Fructosamine level is a measure of the average concentration of blood glucose for a period of three to four weeks. It is not used in the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus but it does provide additional criteria for glucose control.
