  • Computer-aided detection system software designed to operate, control, and monitor a limited number of the functions of systems that are used for automated detection and classification of the size, shape, and number of chromosomes (i.e., karyotyping) on a slide containing a suspension of cell samples. This software is typically intended to work only with one or a few models of computer-aided systems, usually from the same manufacturer. The software performs a variety of algorithms to facilitate the detection of chromosomes, classification of the karyotype, data processing, as well as delivery of report templates in electronic and printed format.
