Pads designed to provide electrical conduction between both sides of the pad. The pads are intended for attaching to the skin on one side and to electrodes on the opposite one. These pads usually consist of thin devices made with conductive materials (e.g., conductive rubber, gel, carbon film) that may be adhesive on one or both sides, some pads are adhesive on one side and include a paddle contact on the other side. Electrical conductive pads are usually intended for attaching to the skin on one side and to electrodes on the opposite side, providing a path for electrical current between medical devices (e.g., electrical stimulators, defibrillators) and the body and/or from biological electrical signals to the medical device.
