  • Detectors designed to assess the individual molecules that come out (i.e., elute) from a chromatography column usually by detecting changes in the properties of the mobile phase and/or the sample constituents. There is a great variety of chromatography detectors either designed and manufactured to detect eluates for liquid and high-performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC) columns or from gas chromatograph columns.
