Carts designed for organized storage, transport, and to facilitate the use of instruments, devices, and materials during ear, nose, and throat (ENT) treatments; some carts may also be used for ENT diagnoses. These carts typically consist of a multiple drawer, shelf, or shelf/drawer cart; they usually have sliding doors, swivel casters of at least 10 cm (4 inch) wheel diameter, and a working surface (e.g., the top of the cart). Otorhinolaryngology treatment carts may include otoscopes and/or otoscope sets, attachments for suction and pressure pumps, electrosurgical units, fiberoptic light sources, built-in grounded electrical outlets, and security locks. They are used in hospitals and ENT physicians\' offices.
