Vascular stents designed to be deployed into a bifurcation of the coronary arteries. These stents are frequently two-segment devices, one intended for the coronary artery main branch and another for the secondary branch; The two segments are usually deployed sequentially as two separate stents that are linked together to conform a single structure (i.e., a combined stent) after deployment. Several techniques using appropriate stents are used, including those known as culotte, crush, and side-branch \'Jail.\' Bifurcation coronary artery stents are usually devices deployed using guiding wires; some may be capable of eluting drugs.
