  • A fixed combination of darunavir, an inhibitor of the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) protease; and cobicistat, a cytochrome P450 3A (CYP3A) inhibitor that may be used to treat HIV infection. Upon oral administration, darunavir binds to and inhibits the dimerization and catalytic activity of the HIV aspartyl protease.
