  • Endoscope testers designed for microscopic visual examination of endoscope lumens. These testers typically consist of a flexible fiberoptic cable with a camera (e.g., CCD) at ists distal tip that is introduced into the lumen of endoscopes. The proximal end of the cable is connected to a computer where the interior of the lumen is shown for visual inspection of residuous after reprocessing of flexible or rigid endoscopes. These testers are used to reduce cross-contamination when reusing endoscopes. Testers for microscopic lumen visualization may be used to check cleanless of the lumen of a great variey of endoscopes (e.g., arthroscopes) and other instruments with small bore lumen tubes.
