  • Systems designed to replicate the conditions that a person will find when having a real magnetic resonance image (MRI) scanning study. These simulators usually consist of replicas of a real scanner, a front panel with a bore for patient entry, a movable patient table, a sound system to reproduce the sounds and vibrations typical of a real MRI scanning study, lights and fans for patient comfort, and a control panel to operate the simulation system.
