Patient positioning aids designed to keep patients lying on one side while sleeping to help in the treatment of positional obstructive sleep apnea and/or snoring. These devices typically consist of a soft material (e.g., foam) cushion covered with one or more layers of plastics or fabrics. The device is worn on the back of the patient using appropriate belts or straps to secure it to the body. Side-sleeping positioning aids allow patients to sleep on one side but prevent sleeping on the supine position.
