  • Audio recorders designed to store sound information in digital format in an electronic memory that have appropriate characteristics for voice processing. These recorders usually consist of an electronic device that includes an integral microphone and/or external jacks to attach microphones; an analog/digital converter; data processors; controls; and an electronic memory such as a hard disk.
