Molecular assay reagents intended to identify variants in the majority of genes known to be associated with peripheral neuropathy, a collection of disorders affecting the peripheral nervous system. Hereditary peripheral neuropathies may affect motor, sensory, and/or autonomic nerve function. Genetic variants at multiple loci have been associated with peripheral neuropathy. These reagents are intended to detect various types of genetic changes (e.g., deletions, duplications, insertions, single nucleotide polymorphisms) in the majority of peripheral neuropathy-associated loci simultaneously.
