Molecular assay reagents intended to identify fetal aneuploidies (i.e., abnormal chromosome copy number), which can cause perinatal death and/or various genetic syndromes (i.e., Down, Edwards, Klinefelter, Patau, Turner). Fetal aneuploidies commonly tested for include autosomal trisomies (i.e., an additional copy of a single chromosome) and sex chromosome aneuploidies. These reagents are intended to assess two or more chromosomes for aneuploidy simultaneously.
