  • Molecular assay reagents intended to determine the level at which certain genes are expressed (i.e., the gene activity) by cells in various sample types (e.g., biopsy, blood, tumor tissue, urine). These reagents are designed to analyze such samples to determine the presence or levels of ribonucleic acid (RNA) gene products (typically messenger RNA) by one or more of a variety of methods, such as reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) or microarray analysis.
