Continuous passive motion exercisers designed to provide controlled movements (flexion, extension, adduction, and/or rotation) to the spine without voluntary muscular exertion. These exercisers typically consist of an electronically controlled electromechanized table mounted on a base to provide periodic, rhythmic movements through a range of motion; they are intended to treat back pain from conditions such as degenerative discs, herniated or bulging discs, spinal stenosis, facet syndrome or sacroiliac syndromes.
