A collection of paper sheets typically bound together at one edge and designed to be used by physicians for manually writing pharmaceutical prescriptions. Paper sheets composing these pads are typically preprinted with information regarding the prescribing physician and/or checkboxes related to pharmaceutical quantities or other relevant information. Some prescription pads include tamper-resistant features such as photocopy-prevention features (e.g., microprint, watermarks), text erasure/modification features (e.g., background inks), and/or serialization (i.e., sequential numbering) of individual sheets.
