Lasers designed to produce Nd:YAG (yttrium-aluminum-garnet crystal doped with neodymium), frequency-doubled Nd:YAG, and ruby laser beams from a single unit that is intended for dermatologic treatments. The beams produced by the Nd:YAG, frequency-doubled Nd:YAG, and ruby lasers operate at wavelengths of 1,064 nm, 532 nm, and 694 nm, respectively. These lasers are used in a number of dermatologic applications including treatment of vascular lesions, pigmented lesions, and various cosmetic application (e.g., anti-wrinkle treatment, tattoo removal).
