Single-use devices used with radiopharmaceutical synthesizers and designed to provide appropriate fluid paths and reservoirs for performing synthesis and purification of radiopharmaceuticals. Radiopharmaceutical synthesizer cassettes are typically dedicated to the synthesis of a single type of tracer (e.g., F18-fludeoxyglucose, C11-Choline) and may be preloaded with some of the reagents necessary for synthesis of that specific radiopharmaceutical. The cassettes obviate the need for cleaning the apparatus between radiopharmaceutical synthesis runs, and may facilitate the synthesis of multiple tracer types on a single synthesizer unit by obviating the need for manual adjustment of the synthesizer\'s fluid path.
