This has been a difficult year for all of us However, despite the COVID pandemic and the severe limitations resulting from it, which have strongly reduced our ability to interact with people and to work in a relaxed environment, the review process of the papers submitted to the IEEE T RANSACTIONS ON E LECTRON D EVICES (TED) was practically unaffected, even in the presence of an ever-increasing submission trend This editorial, which we customarily publish in the December issue each year to thank our reviewers, therefore has, this year, a very particular meaning
