The emergency caused by COVID-19 exposed significant challenges for Higher Education Institutions Beyond the connectivity defiance and the technological infrastructure required to give continuity to the learning processes, professors\' digital skills development has been an essential part in addressing these challenges This work shows how the use of a MOOC can help professors to migrate from the classroom environment to the virtual one The paper explores the phases and methodologies implemented in the MOOC designing Results revealed that 90% of the participants demonstrated superior skills in the management of tele-education tools, 70% of them were capable to scheduled assignments and 60% designed create online exams properly after the training © 2020 IEEE
