?:abstract
  • The size and density of the world population have been increased over the last two decades Such demographic trends have significant implications for almost all areas of the society, particularly in health and medical sectors The Life expectancy is increased specially in developing nations where people want a better live with no disease This chapter aims at developing an IoT based medical appliance called IMTS which works on various integrated hand held medical devices such as pulse sensor, thermal sensor and Oximeter etc followed by a data analytic experiment over the data received from all such devices corresponding to any patient The device uses sensors that are interfaced with controller Arduino board Wireless data transmission done by Arduino through Wi-Fi module The LED and alarm system give us an easy access to this device This chapter discusses the disease when we come across to infected people The idea is to check at personal level through various handheld medical devices and get a probability of infection into you The pandemic like COVID-19 where problem of running nose, sneezing, cough and fever is the main symptoms, its infection must be controlled If we are having such appliances that can check our health on daily basis and correlate with my previous health issues and other attributes, the disease can be controlled at initial stage and can stop its infection among family members The data and result show that the proposed system is a handy tool at domestic level and carrying a good concept © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG
