?:abstract
  • We read with interest the report published in Liver International by Colaneri et al. who presented a case of acute Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) infection occurring during the course of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), highlighting how difficult can be disentangling the responsibility of liver enzyme alteration in a patient with COVID-19, and more importantly how treatment decisions can be affected by both liver disease and severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 infection.
