  • Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, an abrupt behavioural change in the form of the widespread wearing of masks has become prominent.1 Wearing a mask is beneficial in lowering the risk of virus transmission. However, this measure is also known to cause various facial skin problems2, 3 , and their incidence might differ with the type of mask used.
