  • We read with enthusiasm the recent article by Tang et al. entitled \'Abnormal coagulation parameters are associated with poor prognosis in patients with novel coronavirus pneumonia,\' which is a retrospective analysis of the coagulation profile of 183 patients admitted with pneumonia secondary to the 2019-nCoV (COVID-19).1 This article deals with a timely topic and brings up important points that need to be interrogated in future studies.
