  • A 77-year-old nulligravida had been a regular patient in our practice for 9 years for treatment of urgency urinary incontinence (UUI), recurrent stress urinary incontinence (SUI), and lichen sclerosus (LS). The patient\'s medical history was most significant for morbid obesity with a body mass index (BMI, calculated as weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters) of 51. Notably, the patient also had chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hypertension, pulmonary hypertension, and obstructive sleep apnea. She also had an abdominal hysterectomy 30 years prior.
