  • This paper describes the methodology applied by AIB, during the Covid-19 emergency, to provide information and recommendations in support of libraries and librarians. We focus in particular on the AIB recommended solutions to react to two different emergencies, one related to the public health, and the other to the employment in our sector-which weigh on the prospects of our sector. While the first one is of a contingent nature, but requires expensive solutions even in the medium term, the second one is structural.
