  • Switches designed to automatically transfer from one cylinder to another when the gas (either carbon dioxide or nitrogen) in the first cylinder is depleted. These switches consist of an electromechanical unit that monitors the gas supply; the unit includes one input port for each of the gas cylinders and an outlet port that is connected to the equipment using the gas supply (e.g., incubator, oxygen hood).
